L.A. Reggae Band, The Permissions play tribute to a Legend

Alright folks, here's the scoop on our February 10th venture to Spikes Bar and Grill. Jenn and I were invited out to a Reggae gig with our buddy's band, The Permissions.

The mood was bright in celebration of The Late, Great Bob Marley's birthday.  The night started off with a Karaoke style "vocal appetizer", by Chris Bonafide-The Entertainer which set the laid back and passionate scene that is Reggae.

This was a great learning experience and strengthening opportunity for Jenn and I. This type of lighting and environment is tricky to shoot, as I discovered for the first time. The frustration's of trial and error where quickly doused when the band began to play, however.

The passion of the band members and their free flow style payed excellent tribute to the legend, Bob Marley.  I look forward to the many upcoming shows featuring The Permissions, as well as several other L.A. Reggae bands.
